The United Nations Development Programme was created by merging the UN Expanded Programme of Technical Assistance and the UN Special Fund.
First Human Development Report
UNEDP published the first Human Development Report, introducing a new way of measuring development beyond income.
Millennium Development Goals
UNEDP played a central role in the creation and implementation of the Millennium Development Goals.
